Who this is about

This policy covers this website and the messages people send us through it. We are a small 4WD dismantler in Rolleston, Canterbury. There is no customer login on this site, and nothing here is sold or shared for advertising.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into a message form: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, your message, and which vehicle or part you were looking at when you wrote it.

Our server also records a scrambled version of your internet address. It cannot be turned back into your address. It exists so we can tell whether the same sender is flooding the form, and nothing else.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you around the internet.

Why we hold it

To answer you, and to keep a record of what was asked so we can pick the conversation back up later. That is all.

Who else sees it

Your message is emailed to us through Web3Forms, a service that takes website forms and turns them into email. Your details pass through their servers on the way to our inbox. Nobody else receives them.

How long we keep it

Emails stay in our inbox until we clear them out, which we do periodically.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us what we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email or ring us using the details on the contact page and we will sort it out.

Changes to this policy

If this changes we will update this page and change the date at the top of it.
