Parts guide
Buying a used part, without the guesswork
Plain answers to the things we get asked most: how to be certain a part will fit, what a fair price looks like, and what happens when it turns out to be wrong.
Buying second hand is straightforward once you know what to ask. Most of the trouble people have comes down to one of three things: they ordered a part for the wrong generation, they paid new money for something that should have been cheap, or nobody told them what the warranty actually covered.
These pages deal with all three, in the order they usually come up. The same words we use here are the words on our tags and on the vehicle pages, so when you see a term on a listing you can come back and find out what it means.
